Advice in Person
For more complex issues or ongoing problems, you should visit us so we can discuss your situation in person. An appointment is only required (or available) for the following issues:
- Disability Benefit Applications
- Disability Benefit Appeals
- Or if you have received formal eviction paperwork.

Our drop in sessions in our Elgin Office (at 6 Moss Street) run Monday to Friday mornings from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
We are also opening on a limited basis on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Please note these afternoon sessions will only operate when advisers are available and are not guaranteed.
We will be closed on certain local and public holidays throughout the year. A list of these can be found in the news section here.
At current there is limited waiting available during our opening times, but please be aware that an advice session can be lengthy so please ensure that you leave sufficient time (at least an hour) for advisers to provide advice.
